Hey guys!

Let me just say…I LOVE Spring decor. There’s something about all of the pastel colours that gets me giddy! My husband laughs at me all of the time over my insane enthusiasm for decor, and specifically…tablescapes. I can’t even explain my love for styling a table, it’s oddly gratifying. Am I the only one that feels this way? Is it weird if I turn tablescape decorating into a hobby? Ok…maybe that’s a little weird.

Anyway, I’m so very excited to share with you all my styled Easter tablescape. Most of the items I have used in this blog post are truly perfect for any Spring dinner party, not just Easter. I wanted to make this feature more of a Spring themed decor post so that these items can carry you into the season. I’m one for saving money when I can, and although those bunny plates are cute, they are really only going to be used once a year. With that said, I did add some absolutely adorable Easter-themed accessories for those who are looking for specific decor ideas in relation to the holiday coming up.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to the teal/light blue colour palette. I decided to incorporate gold tones with the cutlery, decor accents, and baked goods. It’s such a beautiful combination and perfect for Easter.

I recieved many of my tabletop items from Linen Chest. If you are unfamiliar with this brand, Linen Chest is a fantastic Canadian home retail company that offers everything from bedding to decor to tabletop. You can shop online or in store (see my full item list at the bottom of this post).

The gorgeous plates and glassware are from Linen Chest, and I’m obsessed with the white and teal dish combo. I love mixing and matching serveware when I can – it gives off a ‘custom’ feel.

The gold and clear glass chargers are also from Linen Chest. They are the perfect finishing touch to the place setting.

I received many of the gorgeous decor accessories from The Art of Home. Just a little background, I have been obsessed with The Art of Home since I first heard about the store. They are located in Cambridge, Ontario and they offer a range of beautiful products, from home decor to children’s items, to women’s clothing. If you’re looking for something unique and on-trend, this will be your new favourite place to shop.

The placemats, votives, and my absolute favourite teal cake stand are just a few of the items from their store (see the full list at the bottom of this post).

Pretty baked goods….Is there really a better combo? Sweet Bakery made these (almost) too beautiful to eat cookies, as well as this simple yet stunning bunny cake.

Adding eye-catching desserts contributes so much to an Easter dinner party, and the adults will love it just as much as the kids.

It’s a rule in my book that a tablescape isn’t fully ‘dressed’ until there are flowers on the table. Kailey from Juniper Floral created these incredible arrangements for me, and they add a whimsical and earthy touch to the setup.

I told Kailey what I wanted for this space – lots of natural colours, a little bit ‘wild’ and imperfect, and she created the most stunning pieces. She is beyond talented, and if you can find a local florist like Kailey, you’re lucky!

For those wondering about the specific flowers that Kailey incorporated into these arrangements, she used: Ranunculus, daffodils, tulips, lysianthus, spray roses, and phlox.

Nick and I don’t usually splurge on excellent wine, but when it comes to hosting a nice dinner, it’s always an added bonus to serve something a little bit fancier. We love Chateau Des Charmes wines, and their sparking rose is my absolute favourite (the colour is fitting for the holiday, too). For details on the wines we chose, refer to the end of the post.

We have such a busy Easter weekend this year so I tried to plan ahead as much as I could (this is always a challenge). We are having an Easter brunch on Friday,  Easter dinner on Sunday, and then Mila has her first ever dance recital on Saturday.

Mom fail…I was a little late to buy her dance recital tickets, so we are sitting in the last row. I was so mad at myself for not being more organized, especially for her very first recital. I plan on sneaking my way up the aisle so I can watch my sweet girl perform, crossing my fingers it won’t be an issue.
