As most of you probably know, I LOVE the holiday season. It’s such a special time of year, full of Christmas traditions, spending time with friends and family, giving to others, and sharing the magic of Santa with Mila and Brielle. Some of my most favourite childhood memories are the ones that involve the Christmas season. I’m getting nostalgic here, but one of my fondest memories was going to Church on Christmas eve for the candlelit service. Even as a young little girl, I remember holding the lit candle in the darkened room, singing Silent Night and my heart being so full of gratitude and excitement. Christmas season can either make you a little bit crazy or it can fill your heart with so much joy. Mine does a little bit of both, but moreso the later!
Another thing I LOVE doing during the Holiday season is DECORATING! This year, I decided to go pretty neutral, with lots of greenery and pops of white. Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE adding colour at Christmas, but this year I was feeling the woodsy, earthy theme!
All of the items in this post are from Christmas Central. It’s a one stop shop for ALL things Holiday decor, and oh my goodness do they have a huge selection! I also love the fact that they are extremely budget friendly, but they don’t compromise on quality.
The first thing on my decor shopping list was finding a beautiful garland that actually looks real. There are so many garlands out there, but I find that many scream ‘artificial’ and that wasn’t the look I was going for. I ended up finding this stunning mixed pine garland that drapes beautifully over the fireplace mantle (I used two garlands here for additional length and fullness).
I chose a large and very simple 36″ wreath to mount above the fireplace. This space needed something substantial in size, but I didn’t want the wreath to be too ‘busy’ as it would have taken away from the fireplace mantel.
I found these white stockings and love the simplicity of them. When I discovered these gorgeous reindeer stocking holders, I instantly fell in love! They are by far one of my favourite Christmas decor items!

Next was the TREE! I ended up using a variety of large round Christmas ornaments, white textured garland and large burlap bows to create a snowy winter wonderland ‘look’. Just a little piece of advice – I find that when you use larger ornaments, it creates a stunning ‘full’ look, versus using tiny little ornaments.
In addition, because I was going for that woodsy/earthy ‘theme’, I added in several adorable animal ornaments, acorn branch ornaments, frosted ball ornaments, and pine cones.

I added this beautiful pre-lit pine cone garland to the dining table. I wanted it to feel a little bit imperfect and woodsy. You can find the three pine trees in burlap baskets here.
I mounted two mixed pine wreaths to our back slider door which are filled with blueberries, pine and iced twigs. So pretty!

When I found this frosted woodland tree, I fell in love! It is so whimsical and pretty on its own; you don’t even need to decorate it. It fit perfectly beside my dining table, and these pre-lit gift boxes fit nicely underneath the tree.

Now the goal is to keep all of the decorations where they belong. Brielle’s tiny little hands love ‘exploring’ and I have a feeling they will especially love the sparkly Christmas tree decor!! How are you decorating this year? Share with me below! xo
Lots of love,
