Easy Cranberry Citrus Loaf

When the holiday season arrives, I begin craving all of the flavours that are in this loaf. Cranberry and orange are the perfect wintery combo, and can we just talk about the smell from the oven?! You don’t need to be burning a candle when you’re baking this loaf, that’s for sure! The aroma is amazing!! This loaf is definitely more of a ‘dessert’ or ‘sweet bread’. Typically when I’m baking for the family, we limit the sugars and use replacements that are healthier options.

Fluffy Pumpkin Oatmeal Pancakes

If you’re craving the flavours of Fall, then you need to try these pancakes! They are delicious with the yummy taste of pumpkin spice; perfect for a cozy Sunday morning! These pancakes are super fluffy and don’t taste healthy, if you know what I mean.  Nick is a little bit of a pancake snob and prefers his simple, all purpose flour ones. I on the other hand, want to try and sneak in any bit of fibre I can when I’m feeding the girls. These pancakes satisfy everyones needs which is a win at our house.

Happy Monday, guys! Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadian friends! I woke up this morning still stuffed from the huge turkey dinner we had yesterday. It was so delicious, but now I’m totally craving a simple and healthy meal for tonight’s dinner…and I have a feeling I’ll be making this soup again later on! Two weeks ago I was cooking up this Sweet Potato Soup when I realized that I hadn’t thought about sharing this recipe on my blog!

Healthy and Delicious Peach Breakfast Crisp

Guys…I am OBSESSED with this Peach Breakfast Crisp recipe. It is absolutely delicious, super nutritious and bonus – the girls love it too! I can’t take credit for this recipe, since I found it on The Full Helping. When I discover a recipe I can’t live without, I HAVE to share it with my readers. The one change I made was subbing out the berries for more peaches (I’m on a bit of a peach craze right now – it’s that time of the year).

Guys….I am SO excited about this blog post, and I’m pretty darn lucky to have Holistic Nutritionist Jass Stupak in my amazing circle. She is so incredibly knowledgeable in the areas of wellness and nutrition (as I’ve said a hundred times before), and I wanted to bring her on the blog again to discuss all things SUGAR. Side note: Jass just released her new ebook on Digestive Nourishment
