I can’t believe Mila turned 4 on Friday. She is officially no longer a toddler, and now…a little girl? From now on, is that what I refer to her as? It kind of breaks my heart. Four just seems so much older than 3, do you agree? When she turned 3, she still felt so very small to me. We still had quite a bit of time until she would go to school, and perhaps that alone made me feel like she was still very much a toddler.
My husband and I just returned from a 6 night stay at Unico 20º 87º resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. We have been planning this getaway for a couple of years now. Well, we didn’t have a resort in mind, but we knew that we wanted to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary by going somewhere just the two of us. Kid free, stress free, and full of absolute relaxation.
The truth is, Brielle has always been a brutal sleeper. Unlike her older sister, she has never been a great napper and still wakes throughout the night. So, when Nested Bean contacted me and asked if I would try their Zen Sack (developed to promote a restful sleep), I was hopeful. Brielle has worn sleep sacks since she transitioned out of a swaddle.
Let’s face it, there are so many infant products on the market. Sometimes the over abundance of gadgets, toys, and infant care can make it nearly impossible to figure out what products are worth buying. After going through the infant and baby stage twice, I’m excited to share five of my go-to baby products that I seriously love!
I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally share with you Brielle’s nursery reveal. It’s been a few months in the making, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Some of you may be wondering why I decided to “transform” Brielle’s bedroom now…I mean, she is already 18 months old. Well, Brielle was affected by Second Child Syndrome, meaning…I didn’t dedicate the time and energy into creating a beautiful space for her before she was born. Yes, I hung some pictures. Yes, I bought her a new dresser and side table.
