Now that Summer has come to an end and the school year has began, the stress and overwhelm of staying on track with healthy meals can seem exhausting and nearly impossible. Although I can appreciate the quick granola bar tossed in my daughter’s lunch or a Friday pizza night, I also love having my fridge stocked with healthy items that I can just as easily grab on the go. What I’ve learnt is that you’re more likely to avoid unhealthy food options if it’s simply not there.
Iabsolutely love decorating for the Autumn season. There is something about lighting a pumpkin spice candle, cozying up and bringing out all of the beautiful pumpkins, Fall garland, and decor accessories to welcome in the season change. This year, I was much more inspired to go a little bit more neutral for my Fall decor, with minimal pops of colour.
Hey loves! I’m super excited to share my spare bathroom makeover with all of you. As some of you know, it’s been in the works for a few months now. This is technically Brielle and Mila’s bathroom, and to be honest…there was nothing WRONG with their bathroom prior to the ‘makeover’…it was FINE. Our house is brand new, and therefore, it didn’t require a major facelift at all.
Guys….I am SO excited about this blog post, and I’m pretty darn lucky to have Holistic Nutritionist Jass Stupak in my amazing circle. She is so incredibly knowledgeable in the areas of wellness and nutrition (as I’ve said a hundred times before), and I wanted to bring her on the blog again to discuss all things SUGAR. Side note: Jass just released her new ebook on Digestive Nourishment
Happy Thursday guys! As some of you may know, we are in the process of dreaming up ideas for our living room overhaul. Currently our furniture is really dark and we haven’t done too much with the decor. We moved into our new home last year, and since then, have been picking away; room by room. I really want to go ‘light and bright’ (like every other area of my house), but still want the room to feel warm and cozy.
